Miss universe trans is a platform created by India's first international transgender beauty queen Naaz Joshi, There are not many beauty pageants around the world for transgender women and those that exist are still observing standard beauty parameters to judge them, Miss universe trans is the only beauty pageant that promotes diversity with in the trans community. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, it's unfair to judge girls only on body types and body types or age doesn't define someone's beauty. Miss joshi faced discrimination at an international beauty pageant for trans women, henceforth she decided to launch this pageant. This is also special because it happens in India every year where heritage meets modernism.

The first edition was conducted online in 2021 because of Covid and following years were held at India. The first miss universe trans went to Mia Gomez of Colombia and the first staged winner was Susi Villa from Ecuador. 2023 edition saw winner from Brazil Miss luanna issabelly ,2024 is won by Chiqui baraasch from venezuela .

The next edition of Miss universe trans is scheduled from September 12th to 15th in New Delhi India.

inscription fee includes : 

1. Three nights stay at a 3 star heritage hotel in New Delhi.

Contestants are evaluated on the basis of : Votings on pageant vote, president interview, charity work, evening gown competition, national costume presentation , intro video, closed door interview, overall behaviour and on stage Q and A. 

The following are the requirements to join the competition.

1. Competition is open for all trans women age 18 plus.
2. We accept more than one entry per nation.
3. Queens may compete in four categories, Miss, Ms, Mx and curvy. Mx category is open for drag queens and cross dressers.
4. Event happens every year in New Delhi, India
5. Competition aims to be inclusive and diverse, so that maximum girls can get recognition under one roof

2.ANY MISCONDUCT WITH THE ORGANIZATION WILL COST ELIMINATION WITHOUT REFUND

4. WINNERS OF UNIVERSE TITLE CAN NOT COMPETE IN OTHER PAGEANTS FOR ONE YEAR OR TILL THEIR REIGN. WINNERS SHALL HELP ORGANIZATION WITH LOOKING FOR CONTESTANTS NEXT YEAR.
5. MARKSHEET IS THE PROPERTY OF THE ORGANIZATION AND BY NO MEANS ITS AVAILABLE TO CONTESTANTS
6. FROM THE DAY CONTESTANTS ARE ON BOARD THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DEFAME THE ORGANIZATION, IF FOUND SO THEY WILL BE ELIMINATED WITHOUT ANY REFUND. 
7. ORGANIZATION IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY KIND OF THEFT DURING STAY.
8. ORGANIZATION IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY KIND OF HEALTH ISSUES TO ANY CONTESTANT DURING THEIR STAY
9. IF WINNERS FAIL TO DO DUTIES FIRST RUNNERS UP MEANS INTERNATIONAL WINNER SHALL TAKE OVER.
10. ZERO TOLERANCE TO MISCONDUCT VERBAL, PHYSICAL AND WRITTEN.
11. NO INFORMATION OF OUR VENDORS SHOULD BE LEAKED BY CONTESTANTS TO OTHER PAGEANTS
12. ANY DAMAGE TO QUEEN UNIVERSE PROPERTY OR PROPERTY OF OUR VENDORS WILL BE CHARGED.
